The title of this blog is a history geek reference to The Book of the Courtier, a 16th century primer on how to be a proper Renaissance socialite. If you read enough Historical Fiction these days, the effect is very similar.
There will be reviews, recaps, rants, raves, news, and plenty of snark on as many historical novels as possible. Humor, honesty, and genuine love of historical books is what The Courtier's Book fosters.

My name's Erin, and I'm a college student and a lifelong Historical Fiction fan. Besides reading, I do some of my own writing, as well as horseback riding, drinking Arnold Palmers on my back porch, and entertaining a Shiba Inu dog.
